Our systems are usually web-based, using ASP.NET 2.0 (either VB.NET or C#). Our systems incorporate a variety of best-of-breed user interface components creating a rich and effective user experience, including new AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) rich client technology.All Apex systems rely on enterprise-level databases. We use Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g as the preferred database engine. We use automated NUnit testing platform and powerful 3rd party interface components such as Telerik's r.a.d. studio. The Apex team also has significant experience in open source, J2EE software architecture planning and development, integrating platforms such as BEA Weblogic's application server with open source databases such as PostgreSQL.
