Application Designer

Apex is looking for a highly motivated Application Designer to take on a leading role in creating dynamic and interactive web pages for internal and external web pages full time. All work under this position is done at our Silver Spring, MD office.

Qualified candidates will bring the following required skills:

• Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Strong page layout and design skills
• Strong client interaction skills
• Strong requirements discovery and documentation skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent

Outstanding candidates will also bring additional skills, such as:

• Knowledge of ASP.NET (VB.NET or C#)
• Knowledge of AJAX
• User interface design skills

Experience:

• 2 or more years of website design, updating and maintenance

Education:

• BA/BS
