How to Use Microsoft Outlook to Recall Emails Which are Accidentally Sent – Part 2

You can actually recall your sent message if it has not been read yet. Most of the time, the recipients will not realize that you have sent any message. In older versions of Outlook, your recalled message still can be read by the recipient, but another message informing that you are recalling your previous message is also sent to the recipient. This is actually effective if the message you recall contains simply wrong information. The recipient will just simply ignore the content of your first message knowing that it is wrong. However, if the message contains confidential information which the recipient should not know, then the recalling message will definitely be useless.

You can recall your sent message by entering Sent Items folder. Open your email and click Actions on the menu bar. Select Recall This Message and choose the unread email you want to recall. If your email was sent to many recipients, then you can choose to whom you want to recall your email. You can also replace your deleted unread email with the new one you already edited.

How to Use Microsoft Outlook to Recall Emails Which are Accidentally Sent – Part 1

How many times have you typed wrong the addresses or information in your Microsoft Outlook email and just realized it right after you press the send button? I guess all of us have at least done it once. Sometimes we are such in a hurry that we cannot check things we typed and the email addresses we put. But then, we realize that something is wrong one moment after we hit the send button. Is there any way that we can get our message back and then send the right email to the right addresses? The answer is “Yes, you can.”

As long as the message is still in your outbox folder, you can stop the process by deleting the message from the queue. The time interval since the moment you click the send button to the time your message is actually sent is determined in the Outlook settings. If you are using your office computer, you may not be able to change these settings since it is set by the company you work for. However, if you are working by yourself at home and have the permissions to change it, then you can do these steps to change the settings.

How to Teach Your Kids Entrepreneurship For Their Future Success – Part 1

We all have been introduced to money since we are kids. They know how much the latest version of their favorite toy costs, they can also compare their allowance to their friends’ allowance and protest you as their parents if they get a smaller amount. For this reason, it is important to teach your children about entrepreneurship and business skills to give them the skills they need for their future. This will also stimulate your children’s creativity and teach them to see all the possibilities available.

Encourage your children to join groups in their schools. Joining groups will train them to work with other friends in a team. Teamwork is an important thing in business world. Scouts and Red Cross are two examples of the groups which can help them to develop their teamwork skills.

There are some points you need to try in teaching your children business skills. First, you need to encourage them to be creative and not be afraid in speaking up their thoughts. Ask them to use their imagination in a game about the next business your family will have. When they have come up with ideas, never reject their ideas or tell them that their ideas are bad. On the other hand, challenge them to find the people who will buy the products of their business. This will teach them that good business is the one which has clear market.

Leave Microsoft Word, Convert to Open Office – Part 2

OpenOffice comes with Linux, which is also free. Even though I had been wanting to move to Linux, I could not find the best time to learn to adjust to the changing. But since once OpenOffice can be run in XP as well, I switched from Word to OpenOffice in an instant and it was never dissapointing.

Now, I still don’t understand why so many people are still stuck to Word. OpenOffice is a better program with spreadsheet, presentation program, database, word processor and many additional programs. It is very similar to Word and it is free! Why would you spend your money on the program which is very similar to the one which is offered for free? Word has never done any significant progress anyway since 1998. Do not pay for something that you know the quality is just the same with the one you can get for free.

I just hope that OpenOffice will keep on developing the program and does not repeat Word’s history once they have many users. I have also heard about another open source program called Abiword. Hopefully more and more open source programs will be developed for us to choose so there will be more competition which result to a continuous development.

Leave Microsoft Word, Convert to Open Office – Part 1

I used and loved Word perfect in the past when it changed the screen from blue to white. It was a flexible program and I followed each versions of it from the beginning to the newer ones which were definitely much more easier to operate. It was also a great program which had shortcuts to allow us to do easier formatting compared to Word.

But then Microsoft Office came to the market with its free bundle and people started to use Word and Excel rather than Word perfect and Lotus. Since Word and Excel were free and very similar to Word perfect and Lotus, schools and houses used them and slowly Word perfect and Lotus were lost in the competition.
However, once Word beat Word perfect, it started to lose its competition spirit. Now its price is so high and there are hardly any development in the last years. Today’s version is pretty much the same with the 1998′s version. The biggest complain about Word is the grammar checker. It has never been improved and therefore is not credible. Nobody is foolish enough to trust Word’s grammar checker. The problem is, even though with many disadvantages above, Word is used by everybody so that only few people are willing to leave it.

Three Things You Need to Know Before You Decide to Buy Your Computer – Part 2

Third, if you buy a computer mainly for graphic purposes, it is better if you buy one whose graphic cards are not integrated. The latest games need a computer with dedicated graphic card to play. To find out whether a computer has an integrated graphic card or not, look at the back of the CPU. If the monitor cable is plugged vertical, then it has an integrated graphic card. If the port is horizontal, then it has a dedicated graphic card.To get a better speed, you will also need at least Core2Duo processor and 4 gigabytes of RAM.

When you finally enter the store to buy your computer, hold on to the specification you have had in mind. Do not give in to the sales representative’s persuasion to buy the latest high-powered version of computer when you only need a basic one. Ask the sales representative to explain the specification of each computer and make sure you choose the right computer to buy.
