How to Set up a Web Camera
The use of webcam is now not a rare thing to find. Wherever you see a desktop computer, it is almost certain that there is a webcam lain on the top of the monitor. There is also some sort of convention between the laptop and notebook manufacturer that they must build their products with integrated camera, leaving all their customers to learn to use it someday even when they have the least interest on it. With this world you live in, you must join the party.
It would be no problem if you already have your webcam built in within your laptop. But if you own a desktop computer which means you need to buy external camera to support your webcamming activity, then here are the steps which can really help you to set up your first webcam to join the party. But before that, you need to have these three things first: a webcam, webcam software, and a way to broadcast your image.
Here are the steps:
- Buy the Intel Pro Video PC Camera.
- Install the software from the camera onto your computer.
- Download a program called webcam 32. You can download it from www.webcam32.com. You will get the demo version for free or pay about $40 for the full version.
- Install webcam 32 by following the easy steps outlined in the setup prompt
Once you have done all the steps above, you should have been able to use your webcam. Enjoy your webcam!
